ABOUT

ABOUT

Launched in May 2023, Biscuit Cottage is our one bedroom holiday let located right next door to No64 Biscuit House, in our wonderful village high street of Milford on Sea.

A message from me, Clare, your host:

"I’m thrilled to welcome you to Biscuit Cottage; a special project I consider to be a reflection of me, and the experiences I’ve gained from 30 years of property styling, all around the world!

I hope you will find it stylish, elegant & cosy, and I hope you will love our amazing village, Milford on Sea, where you will also find my lifestyle shop, No64 Biscuit House.

Our village is a true hidden gem, full of independent shops, restaurants & bars. Your accommodation, Biscuit Cottage, overlooks the village green, and you're less than a mile from the beach!"

THINGS TO DO

The Lighthouse Bar & Restaurant

Situated on the sea front in Milford, The Lighthouse serves up fresh, local dishes 7 days a week across breakfast, lunch and dinner... and all the bits inbetween!

Verveine

With 2 AA rosettes, Verveine is recommended in the Michelin guide and the Good Food Guide. It was also awarded best service, best seasonal menu and best restaurant in Hampshire and David won Hampshire chef of the year 2 years in a row.

The Cave Wine Bar

On the opposite side of the village green is this fabulous buzzing wine bar with the added extras of tasty nibbles, platters and tapas.

The Smugglers Inn

A stones throw from the beautiful beaches with views of the Needles and the Isle of Wight, The Smugglers is the ideal resting place. There’s lots of comfy seating, rustic tables & chairs, a restaurant, large garden, stream and a great play area. Oh, and of course great food, beer & wine.

Coastal Bakery

A traditional bakery with seating for coffee or lunch. Perfect for an early morning bite as it's situated 2 minutes from the cottage.

The Washhouse

A micro ale bar that’s passionate about working with the best artisan producers from across the New Forest and south coast. The Wash House is the perfect place to relax or party with friends.

Jaunt E Bikes

Explore the New Forest National Park and its stunning coastline by e-bike. Retro styled with chunky fat tyres and 5 levels of cheeky pedal assist at your fingertips, there's no need to avoid those pesky hills or limit your journey or imagination. No sweat!

The Beach House Pub

From the road, you might miss this hidden gem of a pub, but this lovely, historic manor house sits right on the beach – an idyllic spot to dine, drink and relax.

Hurst Castle

Hurst Castle is an artillery fort established by Henry VIII on the Hurst Spit between 1541 and 1544. It formed part of the king's Device Forts coastal protection programme against invasion from France and the Holy Roman Empire, and defended the western entrance to the Solent waterway.
